Lake Mountain is known for both mountain biking and road cycling during green season.

Stunning landscape, abundance of granite boulders, sweeping vistas that make the view of the Melbourne CBD look diminutive, all provide a visual character and terrain that lends itself to an authentic mountain biking experience. With 25km of relaxed ski trails to explore and 15km of challenging single track there is sure to be plenty of terrain to suit all ages and levels of ability.

Conveniently located close to Melbourne the Lake Mountain climb presents riders with a challenging 20.78km ascent to the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort. Part of the Seven Peaks Alpine Ascents Challenge riders who complete the climb to the Lake Mountain Alpine Resort will be rewarded with some of the most beautiful vistas Victoria has to offer.

Please note the Lake Mountain bike trails are closed during snow season.
