Live Show

Three Birds One Cock

Saturday July 20, 7:30pm

Hitchcock’s blondes are back in black comedy dripping with noir, glamour, murder and suspense.

Three of Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic blondes from Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds find themselves trapped in an absurd “whodunnit” murder mystery. Something sinister is lurking in the shadows and things are not quite what they seem.

Terrified that any one of them could be the next victim, these blondes must use their feminine charm and cunning skills to unravel a storyline much darker than they realise, tumbling towards morbid endings of their own.

Footsteps! Gunshots! Lingerie! Deception! Will all go to plan for these strong-willed bombshells?

A black comedy dripping with noir, glamour, murder and suspense.

When: Saturday July 20, 7:30pm
Where: MIRA Marysville, 11 Murchison Street.
Cost: $20

Exhibition

Assemble

August 3 – September 29, 2019

Assemble – To bring together – Two artists come together to exhibit their art, both utilising  the creative discipline of assemblage but in different yet complementary ways.

Rosemary begins with abstract paper collage assemblages which then transfer into exquisite and detailed oil paintings. Mim’s sculptures feature recycled materials, which are changed in the process, then figures created from modelling clay are added. An intrinsic aspect to this exhibition is the vibrant use of colour, which unifies the art and gives the exhibition an uplifting dimension.

When: August 3 – September 29, 2019
Where: MIRA Marysville, 11 Murchison Street.
Cost: Free
