Lady Talbot forest drive follows the cascading Taggerty river. A great place to enjoy a picnic. Make sure you do the Beeches rainforest walk, a special experience amongst ancient and mystical rainforest.

Lake Mountain ski resort is only a 25 minute drive from Marysville. The easy sealed road drive is a great experience in itself, the alpine scenery is spectacular.
