Nestling in a fertile valley of the Great Dividing Range, the Course is one of Victoria's finest. It offers a challenge to the serious golfer and a picturesque environment for the social golfer or beginner. Par 71, 5472 metres (Ladies par 73, 5074 metres) The golf course is lush, green, and accessible all year round. The back nine holes especially require some precise shots if you want to avoid 'exploring' the trees or fishing for your ball in the beautiful Steavenson river. Being a country course you can also avoid the crowds that can spoil your experience at many city courses. Mid week you can especially enjoy a very peaceful game of golf. Visitors with a handicap are most welcome to join the competitions - please arrive a bit ahead of start times. Wednesday 18 Hole Competition - 10am start Thursday 9 Hole Competition - 2pm start - alternate weeks front 9 & back 9 Saturday 18 Hole Competition - 1st tee closes at 9.30am for 10am tee off Group bookings are especially catered for with on course BBQ facilities and other Club amenities. The Golf Shop can supply all your golfing requirements including Clubs and Buggy Hire. Green Fee players are always welcome and invited to use the licensed bar and clubrooms. LAWN BOWLS From early September until April, social bowls is played every Wednesday afternoon on the Club's beautiful grass green. Times vary according to daylight saving - give the Club a call to clarify. Visitors are very welcome, including children old enough to handle a bowl. If you don't have your own bowls, there are some you can borrow. Please wear flat shoes. Green fees are $5.00. No bowls experience necessary - come along for the fun | |||||||
