Take the Tullamarine freeway Route 43 to the Western Ring Road. Turn left onto the Ring Road M80and travel right to the end and turn left onto the Greensborough Bypass Route 46. Stay on Route 46 through Diamond Creek until you turn right onto route 9 at the roundabout in Wattle Glen. (Don't miss this turn!)
 
Continue to the end of the Wattle Glen - Kangaroo Ground road Route 9, then turn right and immediately left onto the Eltham-Yarra Glen road.Route C726
Turn right onto the Melba Highway Route B300 and then left onto the Healesville-Yarra Glen road Route C726 (Before the railway crossing)
 
Follow this scenic road, through the Yarra Valley & it's picturesque vineyards to Healesville, home of the internationally famous widlife sanctuary.
 
From Healesville you head up through the famous Black Spur, your route is lined with towering mountain ash and lush treeferns. There are public toilets and picnic areas at Maroondah Reservoir, Fernshaw and Dom Dom Saddle.
 
You stay on the Maroondah Highway until you turn right in Narbethong Route C512 10km to Marysville.

Marysville is less than 100km from Melbourne's GPO. Travel along the Maroondah highway Route B300out through Lilydale, turning left at the intersection with the Warburton Highway.
 
Stay on the Maroondah highway, turning right after Coldstream Route B360Continue through the Yarra Valley & it's picturesque vineyards to Healesville, home of the internationally famous widlife sanctuary.

From Yea and Alexandra, travel south down the Maroondah HighwayRoute B360 through Acheron and Taggerty until you reach Buxton. Turn left in Buxton Route C508- 10km to Marysville.
 
From Eildon, travel west along the Goulburn Valley Highway Route B340 to Thornton, turn left Route C515 and join the Maroondah Highway Route B360 at Taggerty.  
 
Turn left and continue to Buxton. Turn left in Buxton Route C508 - 10km to Marysville.
